The sun warms the Earth, Gases in the atmosphere capture heat and re-radiate it back to the surface. This "Greenhouse Effect" transforms the Earth from a cold, rocky ball in to a living planet.  In this course we will discuss how does this system operate, and how are human actions affecting the natural process. 

This course covers topics in electricity and magnetism.  In electricity we cover the following topics: Electric force and electric fields, Gauss’s law, electric potential, capacitance and dielectrics, current and resistance, DC circuits.  In magnetism we cover the following topics: sources of magnetic fields and magnetic forces, Faraday’s law, Inductance, AC circuits and electromagnetic waves.
